Mrs. Allie  Bird Battenfield,55. died Wednesday, February
9, 1968 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Rayville after a 
long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. today at Rayville 
Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Hayes 
and the Rev. Marvin Stone officiating.

Burial will be in the Stevenson Cemetery under the
direction of Rayville Funeral Service.

Survivors include her husband Cecil Battenfield of
Transylvania; four sons, LaRoy Battenfield of Houston,
Texas, Conway Battenfield of Jonesboro, Akansas, Ronnie
Battenfield and Donnie Battenfield both of Monroe, LA.,
a brother, Ben F. Hardy of Pittsburgh, PA, her mother
Mrs. Evie F. Hardy of Rayville, LA and eleven grandchildren
