Audrey Fay McGlothlin

Funeral services for Audrey Fay McClothlin, 66, of
Rayville, LA. were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, 
At Archibald Church of God in Archibald, LA., with Mr.
Karl Huff and Mr. Wilfred Burgess, Sr. officiating. Burial
followed in Gwin cemetery of Mangham, LA., under the direction
of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mrs. McGlothlin passed away on October 17, 2001 at Richardson
Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a member of
Archibald Church of Christ. She retired in August 2000
after serving 23 years as the Registrar of Voters in  Richland
Parish.  Mrs. McGlothlin  is preceded in death by her first
Husband, J.D. Shiers; her father, Oscar Phillips; five brothers-
Corvin Phillips, Leon Phillips, Travis Phillips, Otis Phillips 
and Billy Joe Phillips.

Survivors include her husband, J.W. “Billy” McGlothlin of
Rayville, LA.; her five daughters-Beverly McGlothlin of Rayville, 
Onngaleah Huff of Rayville, Portia Clay, of Rayville, Sherry
Hancock and husband, Phil of Tyler, TX., and Jodi Wright
and husband Jason of Rayville; her son Marty Shiers and wife
Sherice of Monroe, LA.;her mother, Ethel Phillips of Rayville; 
her brother, Cordell Phillips of Baskin, LA.; two sisters, Lucille
Love of Rayville and Sharon Barmore of Mangham, LA,; eleven
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and
nephews.

Serving s pallbearers were William Burgess, Wilfred (Cricket)
Burgess, Jr., W.O. Shiers, Jesse Shiers, Brian Shiers and Jay 
Dee Shiers.  Mrs. McGlothin’s grandsons will serve as honorary 
pallbearers.
