Aubrey Olin Nicholson

Funeral services for Aubrey Olin Nicholson,77, of 
Rayville, La., were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, 
Jan.30,2001 at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church with
the Revs. Harold Spillers, Jay Jones and Richard Robinson
officiating. Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery,
under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of 
Rayville.

Mr. Nicholson died Sunday, Jan.28, 2001 at the Richardson
Medical Center.  He was a veteran of World War II and a 
member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Liz “Maw” Nicholson of
Rayville, LA.; his son, Mike Nicholson of Buras, LA.;
his grandson, Corey Nicholson of Buras, LA.; his 
granddaughter, Randi Lynn Nicholson of Ringold, GA.;
his brothers, Garland Nicholson of Rayville, LA. and
Roy Nicholson of Bossier City, LA.;many nieces and 
nephews, and many friends and loved ones, who know
that their loss is Heaven’s gain.

Serving as pallbearers were Adam Holley, Jordan Holley,
Scott Duckworth, David Duffey, T.J. Parker and Michael
Traxler. Honorary pallbearers were the men of Mt. Calvary
Baptist Church.
