All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary of Annie Kalil Durham as aubmitted as printed in the Richland Beacon News- with their permission ANNIE KALIL DURHAM Funeral services for Annie Kalil Durham, 79, of Rayville, Louisiana, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday January 5, 2000, at the Rayville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Frank Jones and the Rev. Ray Spillers officiating.Burial followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, under thedirection of Brown-Holley Funeral Homes of Rayville. Mrs. Durham died Sunday January 2,2000. She was a member of the Rayville United Methodist Church, and a retired school teacher , having taught in both Holly Ridge and Rayville for over 35 years. She was active in many local organizations, including the Mattie Haley Circle, the Saints Alive, the DMA, the Palmetto Garden Club and the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Denson and her husband, Ray of Lafayette, La; her two grandchildren- Stacey and Brett Denson of Lafayette, La; her brother George Kalil Jr. of New Orleans, LA.; three sisters-in-law- Flora Kalil of Rayville, La and Angelina Mitchell of Thibodeaux. La; and a host of nieces and nephews Serving as pallbearers were Pete Mulhearn, Billy Coenen, Bill LAtimer, Charles Germany, Charles Spruell and Jackie Fuller, Honorary pallbeaarers were John Billy Hanchey, Gene Holtzclaw, Alvin Smith and Bernard Waite
