 A.J. Strong

Services of A.J."Shorty" Strong. 74 of Rayville, were held 
Dec.22,2003 at Lamar Baptist Church in Delhi with eh Rev. Doug
White and the Rev.Bobby White officiating.

Burial followed  in the Lamar Baptist Church Cemetery in Delhi
under the direction of Brown Holley Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Strong was a member of the Lamar Baptist Church in Delhi. He
was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Lloyd Strong.

Survivors include his children, Linda Lillo pf Rayville, Danny
Strong and wife Debbie, of West Monroe and Pamela Edwards 
and hsuband Lonnie , of Acworth, GA.; sisters, Irene Henderson and
husband Jimmy of Jonesboro, and Shirley Thompson and her husband
Lester , of West Monore; brothers, Chester Strong of Hemphill,
Texas and Conway Strong and wife Nancy, of West Monroe; 12
grandchildren and five great-granchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Mark Tolar, Joe Strong, Jason Lillo,
Ben Strong, James Edwards and Timothy Strong.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the
American Cancer Society, 761 N. 19th Street, Monore, LA.71202
