Edward "Scooter" Brown

  Funeral services for Edward Gene "Scooter" Brown, 39, of Baskin, LA were 
held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 1, 2006 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in 
Rayville, LA with Bro. Wilfred Burgess, Sr., and Bro. Wilfred Burgess, Jr. 
officiating.  Interment was in Gwin Cemetery in Mangham, LA under the 
direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville.

  Edward "Scooter" Brown was born on February 16, 1967 in Minden, LA and 
passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at his residence in Baskin, LA.

  Mr. Brown was a member of Archibald First Baptist Church.  He was preceded 
in death by his father, Gene Brown.

  Survivors include his mother, Sybil Burgess Brown; sister, Penny Brown Johns 
and husband, Darren; niece and nephew, Gena and Hunter Johns; maternal 
grandmother, Hazel Burgess; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
