Covington Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Bernice Covington, were held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 7, 2006 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville with Reverend Jason Lupo and Reverend Robert Stroud officiating. Interment followed in Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville. Mrs. Beulah Bernice Covington was born on September 23, 1920 in Fort Necessity, LA and passed away on Tuesday, July 4,2006 in Rayville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Covington, parents; Herby and Myrtle Jones; brother, Herbert Jones and her sister, Onita Ball. Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Switzer and husband, Barry of Rayville and Linda Kay Branch and husband ,Sherwin of Rayville; grandchildren, Scott W. Higdon and wife Theresa of Rayville, Kenneth Higdon and wife, Tasha of Rayville, Amy Switzer of Cathedral City, CA, Jonathan Switzer and wife Melissa of Lakeland, FL, and Sarah Switzer of Waxahachie, TX; brother Norman Lee Jones and wife, Elaine of Tyler Town, MS and twelve great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Scott Higdon, Mike Middleton, Ronald Middleton, Thomas Simmons, Jr., Mark Middleton and Donald Toney. Honorary pallbearers were James Abrams, Dick Warren, Clinton Smart and Billy Ray Smart.
