Rayville, La.

Services for Bertille Burkett Brown, age 87 of Rayville, La 
will be held at 10 AM Saturday, September 4, 1999 at First 
Baptist Church of Rayville with Dr. Ernest Winburn officiating. 
Burial will be in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the 
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mrs. Brown died Thursday, September 2, 1999 in Monroe, La. 
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rayville.

Survivors include her husband Emmett L. Brown Sr. of Rayville, 
La; one son Emmett L. Brown Jr. and his wife LaQueeta of 
Rayville, one daughter: Earline Brown Baker and her husband 
John L. of Oak ridge, La.; six grandchildren: John F. Baker
and wife Beth of Ferriday, La., Freda Ann Dyess and husband
Randy of Columbia, MS, Emmett L. Brown,III and wife Jada of 
Rayville, Myra Lynn Alderman and husband Art of Rayville, Lisa
Earline Cheek and husband Keith of Rayville, and Kym Diann 
Trisler and husband rayland of Rayville; and ten great 
grandchildren.

Pallbeqrers will be John Frederick Baker, Randy Dyess,
Emmett L. Brown III, Keith Cheek. Art Alderman, Rayland 
Trisler, James E. Burkett and Douglas M. Brown.

Visitation will be from 6 PM until 8 PM Friday at the
funeral home.
