All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Billy James Ford A celebration of the life of Billy James Ford, 68, of Epps will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2005 at the Dunn Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM Sunday until time of services Monday at the church. Rev. Bernard Duchesne Jr. and Rev. Eddie Fuller will officiate. Interment will be in the Epps Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Mr. Ford died Saturday at his residence from a sudden illness. He was a former longtime resident of Delhi, was retired from the Delhi Boat Plant and was a member of the Dunn Baptist Church. He was a great lover of the outdoors and was especially proud of his garden and yard. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Albert Ford and Ava Elizabeth Beasley Ford. He is survived by his wife, Adelia T. Ford of Epps, two sons, David Wayne Ford and wife, Annette and Michael Lane Ford and wife, Kelli all of Delhi; his grandchildren, Ashley, Justin and Haley Ford; two brothers, Gene Ford of Monroe and Ray Ford of Alexandria and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Barry Ford, David McVay, Darren Ford, Edd Miles, Freddie Corley and Ken Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be his Adult Men's Sunday School Class members from the Dunn Baptist Church.
