All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Funeral services for Mr. Billy Keith Amos, 69, of Monroe will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul McComack officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mr. Amos, a retired automobile service manager, was born December 30, 1936 in Rayville, LA and passed away Saturday, June 24, 2006 at his residence after a brief illness. He was a graduate of Rayville High School where he was Allstate in football. He was also a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University, served in the National Guard for seven years, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mr. Amos was preceded in death by his son, Darren Amos. Mr. Amos is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Mardie Reinhardt Amos; sons, Danny Amos and wife, Stacy of Monroe, Doug Amos and wife, Lacey of Monroe, David Amos and wife, Cheryl of Bossier City, LA, and Donnie Amos and wife, Traci of Bossier City, LA; brother, George Edward Amos of Eros; and seventeen grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Claxton Mayo, Charles Johnston, Zeke Ramsey, Ronald Johnson, Gene Waalk, and J. L. "Punk" Fitts. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Johnson, Clinton Price, and Robert Keith Semmes, III. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 27, 2006, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
