Billy Ray Sanford

Graveside services for Billy Ray Sanford, 67, of Rayville, were
held Friday at Lynn Cemetery in Archibald with the Rev. Joel
Parker  officiating.

Burial followed in Lynn Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley 
Funeral Home of Rayville.

Mr. Sanford passed away May 21. He was a member of the National
American Rifle Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Eresie Sanford;
four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Willie Ray Sandford, Jr., of Cedar Park,
Texas; a sister,Marthat “Mott” Sanford of Rayville; two grandsons,
Colton Sanford of Summerville, Texas, and Evan Sanford of Cedar
Park, Texas; and a host of cousins.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Williamson, Roy Lord, Dale Lord, 
Charles Lord,  Ricky Sanford, and Bud Stansbury.
