All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Beatrice Bradley Warner A homegoing celebration was held for Mrs. Beatrice Warner of Rayville, La at 11:00A.M. on Saturday December 3, 2005 at First Baptist Church at 802 Martin Luther King Drive, Rayville, LA. Interment was in Pleasant Grove # 11 Cemetery in Rayville , LA, under the direction of Tennant Mortuary of Rayville. Mrs. Warner was born February 28, 1920 in Columbia, LA to Henry and Charlotte Bradley. She departed this life November 26, 2005 in Rayville, LA. Beatrice was one of seven children in her family. Beatrice married John L. Warner, St. on November 3, 1940. To their loving union, eleven children were born; seven boys and four girls. Her children were her life. Preceding Beatrice in her homegoing was her devoted husband of 65 years, John L. Warner, Sr. and two sons, Luther Warner and Eddie Warner. Left to cherish her memories are five sons; Edward and wife Lynn of Rayville, Lee and wife Dorothy of Monroe, LA; Vernon and wife Elaine of Houston, Texas, Pastor John L. Warner and wife Sue of Rayville, Pastor Michael Warner and wife Vera of Germany. Four daughters, Minister Izella Feathers and husband William of Rayville, Minister Delores Tyson and husband Jessie of Rayville, Dorothy Roach of Oakland, CA, and Carolyn Minifield and husband Pep of Richmond, CA’ two sisters, Mary Starks and Lucy Bradley of Delhi, LA. Fifty-two grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Pallbearers were Dennis Jones, Milton Jackson, Carroll White, Police Chief Willie Robinson, James Dorsey, William Walker, Jr., Sidney McGee and David Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers were Andre Warner, Terence Bass, Vernon Warner, Jr., Terry Warner, Erick Warner, Delbert Warner, Patrick Williams, Michael Williams, Eddie Warner, Jr. and Adrian Warner. Note from Children as printed in the Celebration Program: Thank you for your guidance and your love in directing our steps, as we were growing up. Sometimes we did not understand the strictness of your directions , but Mother look at us now. Mother you were so proud of us. Someone once said to you after Daddy’s homegoing, “Mrs. Warner, you need to find a hobby.” Your answer was , “My kids are my hobby.” Mother, you were right. We were your life. We will miss you.
