Dr.Carlton Faye Roberts

Funeral services for Carlton Faye Roberts, 73, of Epps will be at 2:00PM 
Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Epps Baptist Church. Rev. Pat Lofton, 
Rev. Johnny Smith and Jay Simms will officiate. Interment will be in the 
Epps Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. 

Dr. Roberts was born in Rayville, Louisiana on Dec. 23, 1932 and departed 
this life on Aug. 23, 2006 at Mer Rouge LA. He resided in Epps, LA.

Dr. Roberts died Wednesday at The Oak Woods Home For The Elderly in Mer Rouge. 
He was a Supervisor with the Louisiana Department of Labor. He was a long 
time active member of the Epps Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School 
and Vacation Bible School Teacher and was an active participant of numerous 
Mission Trips. Any planned memorials may be made to the Epps Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry M. Roberts and Lula Mae Avant 
Roberts; three brothers Jerry Lee, Luther Wyte and Houston Roberts and a 
sister Christine Roberts Ratcliff.

He is survived by two brothers, Cecil Roberts of Epps and Huey P. Roberts
of Farmerville and numerous nieces and nephews

Pallbearers will be David McVay, Matt Brown, Mike Hall, Wesley Swett, 
Donald Gwin,Doug Ed Fairchild, Dennis LaBatt, and Eddie Guchereau.
