Mr.Charles Ray Payne

Services for Mr. Charles Ray Payne, age 72, of Rayville, LA, 
will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2004 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel 
Rayville, LA, with Rev. Harold Spillers officiating. Interment will 
be in Stevenson Cemetery near Rayville, LA. under the direction of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Lee Tharp Payne, son: 
Donnie Payne; parents: Clarence T. Payne and Willia R. Payne; three 
brothers: Loraine Payne, Manual Payne and Carl Payne.
   
He is survived by one daughter: Stephanie LaBorde of Kenner, LA; 
seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
   
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday and 9:00 AM 
until service time at the funeral home.
   
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's 
Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
