Mrs. Clemmie Higdon Chauncy

Services for Mrs. Clemmie Higdon Chauncy, age 97, of Delhi, LA, 
will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Cox Funeral Home 
Chapel Delhi, LA, with Rev. Pat Loftin and Bro. Wilford Burgess 
officiating. Interment will be in Lamar Cemetery Delhi, LA, under 
the direction of Cox Funeral Home Delhi, LA. 

Mrs. Chauncy was born January 21, 1908 and passed away Saturday, 
March 26, 2005 at the Richland Parish Hospital Delhi, LA. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Ollie Chauncy, former 
husband, Sydney Higdon, daughter, Addie Jewel Herford, grandson, 
Rickey D. Higdon, father, Robert Chisholm, mother, Addie Chisolm. 

She is survived by her son: Tracy Higdon, Delhi, LA; daughter-in-law: 
Ethel Higdon; daughter: Betty Ruth Hurley, Rogers, Arkansas; 
son-in-law: Bud Hurley; grandson: Henry G. Herford Jr., Delhi, LA; 
granddaughter: Renee Vanderpool, Alamo, TX; granson: Donald Higdon 
Monroe, LA; eight great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Charles Pepper, Plinky Pennebaker, Roger Ward, 
Dallas Jones, Allen Ogden, and Justin Higdon. 

Family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 PM Monday at 
Cox Funeral Home.
