Albert Clayton Weems Jr.

RAYVILLE - Funeral services for Albert Clayton Weems Jr., 61, of Delhi,
Louisiana, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 1999, at the
Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel in Rayville with the Rev. Rudy 
Hernandez officiating.  Burial followed in the Lone Cherry Cemetery in
Mangham, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Homes of Rayville.

Mr. Weems died Wednesday, November 24, 1999.  He was a mechanic and an
Army veteran.  He was a member of West Side Baptist Church in Delhi.

Survivors include his mother, Pearlie B. Weems of Delhi, LA; his son,
Wayne Webre and his wife Jackie, of Houma, LA; his daughters, Michelle 
Simpson and her husband, Bill, of West Monroe, LA and Tara Howington
and her husband, Eddie, of Dunn, LA; four grandchildren - Meagan Weems
of West Monroe, LA, Tiffany Howington of Dunn, LA, and Jacob and Haley
Webre of Houma, LA; two sisters - Annette Blake of Rayville, LA and
Betty Jean Neathery of Arcadia, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, 
nieces, and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Thomas E. Haire, Terry L. Haire, Donnie
Weems, Delton Antley, Charles Bowman and Bruce Weems.

Submitter's Notes: Albert Clayton Weems Jr., the son of Albert Clayton
Weems Sr. and Pearlie Brown Weems, was born June 19, 1938, in Mangham,
Richland, LA.
