Gerald Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Coax Cemetery near Baskin. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Charles Neathery, Glenn D. Neathery, Raymond Harrison, John Heath, Timothy Neathery, Sammy Chisolm. Mr. Neathery died Friday in Colonial Manor Guest Home in Rayville after a long illness. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Frances Young of Ruston, Mrs. Huey Hamm Sr. of Rayville, Mrs. Brenda Self of Monroe, Mrs. Thelma Bellmore of Houston, Mrs. Eula Mae Neathery of San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. Mary Ann Bates and Mrs. Sandra Hammack, both of Columbus, Miss; six sons, Richard C. Neathery of Monroe, Thomas S. Neathery of West Monroe, Carl V. Neathery of Houston, Leo Neathery of Alabama, James Priest of Columbus, Miss. and Luther Stowe III of Monroe; three brothers, Milliard Neathery of Oak Grove, Burton Neathery of Fort Necessity and Willie N. Neathery of Oak Grove; a sister, Mrs. Emma Hudson of Winnsboro; 30 granchildren 25 great- grandchildren. **Submitter's notes: Clarence Washington "C. W." Neathery was born 27 June 1907 in Harrisonburg, LA and died 29 February 1980. He was the son of Thomas Scott Neathery and Josaphine Moore Neathery.
