Johnnie D. Dear

  RAYVILLE - Funeral services for Johnnie D. Dear, 69, of Rayville, were held 
at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 1997, in the chapel of Brown-Holley Funeral 
Home with the Rev. Robin Hood officiating.

  Burial was in the Lone Cherry Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley 
of Rayville.

  Mr. Dear was born October 8, 1928 in Mangham, LA and died December 15, 1997 
in Rayville, LA.

  He was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Steve Dear.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jewel Brown Dear; three sons and two 
daughters-in-law, Roger G. and Shirley Kelly, Delton G. and Rita Antley, and 
Johnny Ray Dear; one daughter, Ms. Debra Lynn Dear; two brothers, Charles 
Stewart and Grady Stewart; two sisters, Mrs. Christine Shaw and Mrs. Mary Ann 
Martin; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Eddie Fay Conley, Ted Crawford, Steve Dean, Pat Hollis, 
Terry Lynn Haire and Thomas Haire.
