Dollie A. Johnson

Funeral services for Dollie A. Johnson, 91, of Start, La., were
held at 10 a.m. at the Brown-Holley Funeral Homes Chapel on
April 6, 2001, with Bro. Wayne Parker officiating.  Burial
followed in the Start Cemetery, under the direction of Brown-
Holley Funeral Homes of Rayville.

Mrs. Johnson died April 4, 2001. She was a member of the Start
Baptist Church.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Miles
Johnson; her parents, Floyd and Ann Nolan Armstrong; two
daughters, Alice Mae Johnson Leonard and Minnie Johnson Conley
Crocker; two grandsons, Arnold Wayne Bruce and Leonard Charles
Conley; three sisters, Zeola Armstrong, Rosie Sims and Nettie 
Armstrong; and by a brother, Millard Armstrong.

Survivors include her daughters, Addie Brown and Dollie Hestand,
both of Rayville, LA., Mary McCulley of Crystal, FL.,Rosie 
Del Rio and Sybil Miles both of Start, LA. and Velma Mc Farland 
of Marshall, Texas; her sons Jessie Johnson of Rutlege, TN.,
James Robert Johnson of Start, LA. and Jack Johnson of Haughton, 
LA.; thirty-one grandchildren, forty-three grandchildren and 
Nine great great grandchildren
