Jason Murphy officiating. Interment followed in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA David Del Rio was born on December 7, 1910 in Natchitoches, LA and passed away on Monday, February 19, 2007 at his residence in Girard, LA. Mr. Del Rio was a member of the First Assembly of God, Rayville, LA. He tilled the soil by the sweat of his brow and grew cotton for 40 years, and then worked as a welder for Shoemaker & Sons until he retired in 1972. He was preceded in death by his son, Gene Arden Del Rio; grandchildren, Jeremy Keith Allen and Amanda Bolin; 5 brothers, Livinston Del Rio, Alven Del Rio, Archie Del Rio, J.W. Del Rio and Jack Del Rio; 5 sisters, Janel Bass, Mary Del Rio, Thelma Keeton, Ceciel Bolin and Zelena Ponder. Survivors include his Wife, Marie Ponder Del Rio of Girard, LA; Children, Frisco Eddie Del Rio and wife, Linda of Junction City, AR, Quinn Del Rio and wife, Rosie of Start, LA, Don David Del Rio and wife, Theresa of Oak Ridge, LA, Larry Dean Del Rio and wife, Brenda of Oak Ridge, LA, Amelia "Teresa" Boutwell and husband, David Bowen of Leesburg, FL, Earl Keeton and wife, Maddie Sue of Monroe, LA and Johnny Ray Bolin of Bastrop, LA; Grandchildren, Judith Lynn McIlhiney, Samuel David Del Rio, Dewayne Gene Del Rio, Terry Lynn Del Rio, Randy Scott Del Rio, Mariana Dorean Wood, Donna Malena Word, Tanya Lynn Moreno, Damian Dewayne Del Rio, Deanna Lynn Del Rio, David Del Rio, II, Christopher Brady Allen, Daniel Elliot Allen, Angie Keeton Lord, Earl Herbert Keeton, Bryan Keeton, Arden "Little Arden" Keeton, Quinn Bolin, Jammie Bolin, Raymond Buzbee, Troy Buzbee, Timothy Buzbee; and 30 Great Grandchildren.
