 Dortha "Dorothy" Earline Deville 

Funeral services for Dortha “Dorothy” Earline Holton Deville, 
69, of Rayville, LA were held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, May 20, 2007 
at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. George 
Deville officiating. Interment followed in McKnight Cemetery, 
Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, 
Rayville. 

Dortha “Dorothy” Deville was born on December 1, 1937 in Pioneer, 
LA and passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2007. 

Mrs. Deville was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Ellen 
Eley Holton; her Brothers, Henry and Charles Holton and her Sisters,
Rosalee Fathree and Joyce Johnston. 

Survivors include her Husband, Alvin J. Deville of Rayville; Son, 
Bernard Deville of Farmerville, LA; Brother, Mitchell Holton of 
West Monroe, LA; Sisters, Becky Briggs of New Boston, TX and 
Vernie Jones of West Monroe, LA; 4 – Grandchildren and numerous 
Brothers-in-law, Sister-in-law, Nieces and Nephews. 

Pallbearers were Tim Morris, Cameron Morris, Payton Morris, 
Ronnie Miller, Matthew Miller and Pete Gilbert 

Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Deville, Sgt. Steve Deville 
and Dwight Landry.
