All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Dale Fortenberry Sr. Dale Fortenberry Sr.,63 of Marble Falls,Texas, and formerly of Rayville, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2001. He was born April 20, 1938, to Rossie and Imogene Fortenberry, He was the founder of Fortune Products, Inc., and the inventor of the Accusharp Knife Sharpner. He had lived in the Smithwick community for the last seven years. Some of his fondest memories were the years he spent in Rayville, going to high school and attending the class reunions with his classmates. He truly loved them all. Survivors include his son, Dale Fortenberry, Jr., and his wife, Kasey; his daughter, Diana and her husband, Jay Cavanaugh; four beautiful granddaughters, Melanie, Savannah, Cassidy and Delany; three sisters, Phyllis Yates, Gladys Watson and Helen Heath; a brother, Randy Fortenberry; and his step-mother Willie Mae Fortenberry. Services were held at Edgar Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas, with burial in the Smithwick Cemetery of Friday, June 8, 2001. The family wishes to thank everyone for the comfort and support at this sad time. Please continue to pray for them all.
