 David Michael Acklen 

Funeral services for Mr. David Michael Acklen, 56, of Russellville, 
AR formally of Archibald, LA were held 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2006 
at Little Creek United Methodist Church in Archibald, LA with Rev. 
Howard Childs officiating. Interment followed in the Little Creek 
Cemetery, Archibald, LA under direction of Brown-Holley Funeral 
Home in Rayville, LA. 

David Michael Acklen was born on October 10, 1949 in Archibald, LA 
to the late W.L. and Mary Acklen and passed away on Wednesday, May 1
7, 2006 in Little Rock, AR. 

Mike was very loving and faithful to his family and friends. All w
ho really knew him loved him, and he will be greatly missed. Mike 
was a lifetime member of Little Creek United Methodist Church in 
Archibald, LA. He was preceded in death by his brothers, W.L. Acklen, 
Jr., Felix W. Acklen and Shepard Acklen. 

Survivors include his sisters, Mary Lyn Holloway and husband, Carl 
of Archibald, LA and Bettie Ann Brunson and husband, Ted of Dover, 
AR; and his many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Pallbearers were Brett Brunson, Ty Brunson, Dan Brunson, Perry Brunson, 
Donald Acklen and Jim Archibald. 

Honorary pallbearers were Bob Archibald and Steve Archibald.
