 Dorothy Raye Spencer Joiner

Funeral service for Dorothy Raye Spencer Joiner,71,
of Rayville, were held January 14, 2002, at Faith
Baptist Church, in Start, with Rev. Joel Parker 
officiating.

Burial followed in Lynn Cemetery, in Archibald,under
the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Joiner died January 12, 2002 at Glenwood Hospital.

A retired seamstress, Mrs. Joiner was a member of Faith
Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and 
Almeda Sanford; two husbands, Jimmie Rogers Spencer
and Marshall Emmitt Joiner; a son Ricky Wayne Spencer;
and a grandson, Matthew Spencer.

Mrs. Joiner is survived by two sons,Jimmie Dan "Danny" 
Spencer of Rayville, and Ronnie Dale Spencer and wife,
Cindi, of Rayville; two daughters, Barbara Spencer Finley
and husband Ronnie of New Iberia, and Susan Spencer Tatum,
of West Monroe; daughter-in-law, Janice Heath Spencer of
Rayville; brothers, William James Sanford and Billy Paul
Sanford; sisters, Beatrice Copeland, Audrey Morgan, Myrtle
Peoples and Shirley Parker; 19 grandchildren and 10 great 
grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were grandsons, Chad Finley, Scott
Spencer, Shannon Spencer, Jason Spencer, Steven Tatum,
Eric Spencer, Ernest Finley, Daniel Spencer and Kendal Jeselink.
