Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Lone Cherry Baptist Church south of Mangham with the Revs. Doyle Adams, C. W. Jones and Woodrow Northcutt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi. Survivors include five sons, Randle R. Brown of Shreveport, Cecil Brown and Gene Brown, both of Baskin, Jack Brown of Delhi and Noble Brown of Archibald; five daughters, Mrs. Myrtis Flint and Mrs. Pearlie Weems, both of Delhi, Mrs. Myrtle Haire of Rayville, Mrs. Edna Southall of Mangham and Mrs. Jewel Dear of Waskom, Tex.; a brother, Henry Brown of Winnsboro; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Jones of Bastrop, Mrs. Bertie Antley of Delhi, Mrs. Siller Samworth of Mangham and Mrs. Mae Jackson of Gilbert; and 28 grandchildren and 36 great-granchildren. Submitter's Notes: Monroe Edward "Ed" Brown, the son of Manson Nathaniel Brown and Martha Elizabeth Clark Brown, was born February 23, 1891 in Catahoula Parish, LA, and died February 6, 1976 in Delhi, Richland Parish, LA. He married Annie Adella Nobles April 2, 1916, in Rayville, Richland Parish, LA.
