With her parents, Mr. And Mrs. C. M. Wilkerson, she moved to Louisiana in 1903. On May 19, 1909 she happily married to Hezzie Greer, their union being blessed with three precious little ones, all of whom she leaves behind, besides mother, father, brother and sisters, and a host of friends. Death in any form brings sadness, but when one so young and so much needed is snatched from home and loved ones, it seems, Oh! So sad. "Yet His ways are not our ways." It was not my privilege to be associated with Edna except in her early childhood. Then she gave promise of a lovely and useful woman, which was afterwards fulfilled in the obedient daughter, the affectionate sister, faithful wife and loving mother. She, with her husband, joined the Baptist Church soon after her marriage and was loyal to same until death. Farewell, dear little girl, the Boatman has just carried you over, and He's coming back for us some sad, sweet day, then there'll be a happy reunion on the other shore. Her Aunt Fannie
