Bruner Funeral services for Mr. Edward “Ed” Harry Bruner, 60, an electronic technician of Rayville, were held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel in Rayville with the Rev. Bobby White officiating. Interment followed in Stevenson Cemetery near Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville. Edward “Ed” Harry Brunner was born on September 27, 1943 and passed away on Thursday,August 26, 2004. Mr. Bruner served his country as a member of the United States, Navy. Mr. Bruner served in the Vietnam War, Panama and Cuban Crisis.. Mr. Bruner was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Clarence Bruner. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mary Bruner of Rayville; his daughters, Beth Dickerson and husband Danny of Rayville, and Penny Coltharp and fiance’ Brian Ordoyne of Bedford, TX; his son. Eddie Junior Bruner, and girlfriend Nikki of Rayville; and nine grandchildren, Johnnie, Heather, Jennifer, Danielle, Rayylynne, Karlee, Katie, C.J. and Chandler. Pallbearers were Jimmy Dickerson, Danny Freeland, William Freeland, David Freeland, Bendel Clack, Roy Chapman and Tommy Freeland. The family would like to thank Shelly Clack, Phyllis Thompson, Sharon Baum, Danny Temple and Anita Dunn for providing the music.
