Sunday, January 20, 1991 in the Zebedee Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Fort officiating. Burial was in the Stevenson Cemetery north of Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville. Mrs. Mayo died Friday, January 18, 1991 in the Richardson Memorial Medical center. She was a member of Zebedee Baptist Church. Mrs. Mayo is survived by her husband, J. C. Mayo of Rayville; two sons, Claxton Mayo of Monroe and James (Red) Mayo of Monroe' two sisters, Mrs. Marilee Peoples and Miss Eva Clack both of Rayville; three brothers, John T.Clack, Luther Clack and Earl Clack, all of Rayville, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Mark Mayo, Monty Mayo, James Johnston, Purcell Green, Tommy Mathiew, Jr., Conway Liner, Bendel Clack and Darwin Peoples.
