 Ethel Paul Fussell Fields 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Paul Fussell Fields, 81, of Start, LA were 
held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church, 
Jena, LA with Dr. Don Doughty and Rev. Paul Nugent officiating. Interment 
followed in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Jena, LA under the direction 
of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA 

Ethel Paul Fields was born on January 12, 1926 in Rhinehart, LA and passed away 
on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 in West Monroe, LA after a lengthy illness. 

Mrs. Ethel Field was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. She 
was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge #152 in Mangham, LA. Ethel graduated 
from Lamar College in Beaumont, TX. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse in the 
Rayville area for over 25 years, where she cared for all of her patients dearly. 
Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel Marie Paul and 
her sister, Henrietta Rutledge. 

Mrs. Ethel Fields is survived by her Sister, Helen Clippa and husband, Lionel 
of Orange, TX and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
