James Kitchens officiating. Interment will follow in Greer Cemetery, Rayville under direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home-Rayville. Mrs. Stephens was born on November 13, 1921 and passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2004. She was a member of the Zebedee Baptist Church. Mama loved to garden, she could grow almost anything. She w as preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Earl" Stephens Jr., Sr.; parents, Hubert and Gracie Parker; sons, Jesse and David Stephens; daughter, Karen Stephens. Survivors include: daughters, Earline Love and husband, Bennie of Rayville and Rhonda Guimbellot and husband, Larry of Start; sons, Joseph Earl "Joey" Stephens and wife, Donna of Rayville and James Harold "Jimmie" Stephens of Rayville; sisters, Jewel Townsend of Rayville, Voncil Duncan of Hebert, LA and Willa Townsend of Hebert, LA; fourteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Henry Townsend, Michael Townsend, Robert Duncan, Benny Townsend, George Townsend and Bobby Ray Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
