Eugene Travis Greer

Services for Mr. Eugene Travis Greer, age 88 , of Rayville, LA 
will be at 2:00PM Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in the Chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home of Rayville with Rev. Charlie Hood officiating. Interment 
will follow in Greer Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home of Rayville. 

Mr. Greer was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. He was 
retired from the Louisiana State Highway Department. He resided at the 
Louisiana War Veterans Home for 10 years. He was also a veteran of World 
War II with the mounted patrol with the military police. 

Survivors include: wife of 60 years: Tommie Lucille Greer of Rayville, LA; 
1 daughter: Linda Hollis and husband Bob of West Monroe, LA; 2 sons: 
Raymond Greer of Monroe, LA and Ernest Buddy Greer and wife Marilyn of 
Rayville, LA; 1 sister: Willie Mae Fortenberry of Rayville, LA; 6 grandchildren: 
Danny Ray Greer and wife Pam of West Monroe, Andrew Paul Greer of Ruston, 
Ramona Shelbrune and husband, Mike of Rayville, Linda Torrey and husband 
Weldon of Rayville, Julie Knight of Rayville, and Sabrina Kennedy of West 
Monroe; 8 great grandchildren: Alyssa Greer, Nicholas Greer, Allyson 
Knight, Dalton Knight, Cassie Torrey, Jackson Torrey, Nila Paige Kennedy, 
and Christina Abigail Kennedy. 

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Greer, Charles Lee Greer, Andrew Greer, 
Paul Williamson, John DeYoung, and Kenny DeYoung. 

Honorary Pallbearers are Richard Oliveaux and Ted Seffens. 

Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday, January 22, at Mulhearn
