Terry Funeral servics for Freeman Charles Terry, 74, of Start were held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 1989, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville with the Rev. Willie Woodard officiating. Burial followed in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn's of Rayville. Mr. Terry died Monday, September 11, 1989, in the Richland Parish hospital in Rayville following an extended illness. A native of Colfax, Mr. Terry has been a resident of Start for the past 30 years. He was a self employed automobile mechanic and a member of the Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice Temple Terry of Start; four sons, Freeman C. Terry Jr. of Start, Bobbie Gilbert of Calhoun, Herbert Gilbert of Brandon, FL., and Richard Gilbert of Lakeland, FL.; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Richardson and Mrs. Ina Curry of Start; two brothers, W.W. Kelly of Monroe, and W.R. Nobles of Start; and a number of grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Kenneth Gilbert, Ronnie Gilbert, David Kelly, Donald Alton Pickle, Harley Primm, and Steve Crawford.
