Piro Services for Frances Edweda Guess Piro, 81, of Mangham were held August 27 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rayville with Father Bobby Inzina and the Rev. Rick Aultman officiating. Burial followed in Gwin Cemetery under the direction of Brown- Holley Funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Piro died Augsut 24. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas “Nick” Piro. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Clarence Phillips of West Monroe; her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Lori Piro of Mangham; four grandchildren, Michelle McClain Piro,John Nicholas Piro, Jessica Piro, and Jacob Piro, all of Mangham,; and three sisters-in-law, Constance Burgess of Mangham, Angelia Maggio of Monroe and Joan Flint of Baton Rouge. Pallbearers were Paul Brown, Jay Brown, Brad Chapman, Todd Chapman, Neal Harwell and Tony Harwell. Honorary pallbearers were Fred Douciere, Johnny Etier, Joe Banks and all the men who were past employees of Piro Grocery and Market.
