FANNIE McDONALD DIES Mrs. Fannie McDonald a most estimable lady of near Archibald who is well known throughout the parish and has a number of friends in every section of Richland, died last Saturday morning in Vicksburg at a sanatorium there where she has been for several weeks for medical treatment. although she was known to be quite ill, she had improved a great deal seemingly just before her death; in fact so well did she seem to be that her daughter, Mrs. John LaGrone felt safe in leaving her. The death of this good lady was unexpected at this time and came as a shock and a source of greatest grief to the devoted family and friends. Mrs. McDonald was the widow of the late lamented Elijah McDonald and was the mother of four children, two of whom survive her, Mrs. John Lagrone and Joseph McDonald. She was a woman who might be described as the perfect wife and mother, meriting the love and reverence of her family through a useful life. She possessed those perfect qualities of heart and head that make woman the redeeming glory of mankind. Not only will her loss be felt in the home but in the neighborhood. She will be missed and mourned. We tender the bereaved family the homage of our sympathy and condolence and point them for comfort to the hopes of heaven.
