Young Funeral services for Mrs. Frances N. Young, 72, of Monroe, LA will be held 10:00AM, Friday, July 28, 2006 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA, with Bro. Jason Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery near Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville, LA. Mrs. Young was born on November 15, 1933 in Delhi, LA and passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2006, in her residence at Francis Towers, Monroe, LA. She was a member of the American Federation of Musicians Union. Mrs. Frances was preceded in death by her son, Richard H. Harrison; parents, Clarence W. Neathery and Cordia Ellafair Stephenson Neathery; brothers, Richard C. Neathery, Thomas H. Neathery, and Willis Ray Priest; and her husband, Homer Lee Austin, Sr. Survivors include her children, Cordie Brice and husband Franklin, Raymond Harrison and wife Doris, and Homer Austin, Jr. and wife, Stacie; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Carl Neathery, Sarah Hamm, James Priest, Mary Bates, Sandra Hammett, Brenda Neathery, Thelma Neathery, Eula Neathery, Leo Neathery, and Bud Stowe; sisters-in-law, Frances Neathery and Gennie Neathery; and a host of nieces and nephews.
