All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Fannie Pauline Jones Welch Services for Mrs. Fannie Pauline Jones Welch, 89, of Mangham, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 21, 2004, at Mangham United Methodist Church, with Rev. Carroll Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Gwinn Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville. Mrs. Welch was born October 25, 1914 in Mangham and died Thursday, August 19, 2004 at Richardson Medical Center. She was a member of Mangham United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and a member and past officer of Mangham Literary Club. She enjoyed baking cakes and pies for family and friends and also enjoyed working in her yard and shopping with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Osmer Welch; parents Oscar and Lula Jones and several sisters and brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Dianna Welch Gandy of Archibald and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dr. Kenneth McDonald, Lee Both, Jr., Charles Poole, Burk McDuff, Tim Fife, and Robert L. Bell. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Stephenson, Havis R. Wall, Whit Jones, Dr. Douglas Brown, Dr. John Hull, Frank Etier, and Johnny Etier. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, August 20, 2004, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville.
