Interment followed in Rayville Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home. Mrs. Eubanks died Jan. 9, 2002. She was a member of the Archibald First Baptist Church and the Woodman of the World. Mrs. Eubanks is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny William Eubanks, Sr.; parents, Alonzo and Mamie Nobles; sister, Estelle Stevens and brother, A. B. Nobles. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Ann Hendrix and husband, Thomas Lee Hendrix, Sr., of Mangham; two sons, Johnny William Eubanks and wife Sharon, of Rayville; and Donnie Britton Eubanks and wife Hazel, of Rayville; four sisters Kathleen Eubanks, of Bastrop, Dovie Gandy, of Waterproof, Darlene Turnage, of Baskin; and Connie Evans, of West Monroe; four brothers, Emmett Nobles, of Monroe, James Nobles, of Baskin, Harvey Nobles, of Monroe, and Ronald Nobles, of Mangham; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were Wendell Eubanks, Ronald Eubanks, Todd Nobles, Clay Parker, Tom Hendrix, Jr., and James Hendrix, Jr. **Submitter's notes: Gladys Irene Nobles Eubanks was born in Mangham, LA, 31 December 1922, the daughter of Alonzo Britton Nobles and Mamie Weston Nobles.
