Floyd Duchesne, Sis. Alice Stevens, and Bro. Eugene Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery in Rayville, LA, under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home Rayville, LA. Mrs. Gladys Farrar was born in Wisner, LA, on May 3, 1911 and passed away on Monday, November 29, 2004 in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Farrar was a member of the Shady Grove Church of God in Holly Ridge, LA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jim Bob Farrar and Monroe J. Cater; children: W. R. "Billy" Farrar and Monroe J. Cater, Jr; stepchildren: J. W. Farrar, Elmer Farrar, Ora Alexander, and Cora Hendrix, and five grandchildren. Survivors include her children: J. B. Farrar, Randy Farrar and wife, Shirley, Patsy Self and husband, Pink, Evelyn Flattmann and husband, Wookie, Mary Dumas, Cathern Brock; sister: Julia Wilson; brothers: Huey P. Stephens, R. W. Stephens, V. J. Stephens; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be the Grandsons. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Shady Grove Church of God in Holly Ridge, LA.
