 Grace Hales Crawford 


Funeral services will be held for Grace Hales Crawford at Brown-Holley Funeral 
Chapel, Rayville, LA on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 3:00 p.m., Rev. Ron Brown 
will officiate. Interment to follow at Lone Cherry Cemetery, Mangham, LA 

Mr. Crawford was born on August 25, 1922, to A.A. and Ola Jane Gray Hales in 
Mangham, LA. She died April 10, 2007 at her home in Rayville. 

She was preceded in death by her Parents; a Daughter, Diane Crawford; Sisters, 
Bernice Walters, Louise Gibson, and Brothers, Myrt T. Hales, Sr. and Cecil Hale. 

Mrs. Crawford was retired from Sears in Monroe and former owner of Sears 
Catalogue Store in Rayville. She was a member of the Louise L. McGuire O.E.S. 
Chapter #4. 

She is survived by her Husband, of 67 years, Virgil Crawford of Rayville; 
Daughter, Jane Crawford Rice of Monroe; Sister, Thelma Moon and husband, Emory 
of Farmerville, LA and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Nephews will serve as pallbearers. 

Memorials may be made to St. Jude or the charity of your choice. 

Visitation will be 5:30 PM until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 
Brown-Holley Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. until Service Time, Thursday at 
Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville.
