Fred Keys and the Rev. Keith Evans officiating. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery in Holly Ridge under the d direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Dew passed away April 23, 20002. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. For 28 years before her retirement, she was a cook,server and later manager of the Holly Ridge High School Cafeteria. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Bobbye and Glyn Clark of Downsville; four sons and daughters-in-law, W.J. Dew of Rayville, Charles and Dorothy Dew of Vidalia , Bill and Dorothy Dew of Gilbert and Jimmy Dew of Rayville; a sister, Lorinda "Lo" Stokes of Rayville; a brother, I.L. "Bootsy" Thompson of Rayville; a sister-in-law, Bessie Thompson of Rayville; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grand children and great great grandchildren. Her grandsons and nephews served as pall bearers.
