Burial will be in Little Creek Cemetery, west of Archibald, under direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville. Mrs. Fleming died Tuesday at her residence after a long illness. She was a native of Pokeville, Miss., but spent most of her life in Archibald as a housewife. She was member of Cedar Baptist Church of Archibald. Survivors include her husband, David Fleming of Archibald; two sons, W. L. "Bill" Fleming of Mangham and Marvin Fleming of Calhoun; five daughters, Gladys Lewis of Colfax, Doris Boies of Alto, Ruth Head of Morgan City, Sue Gibson of Archibald, and Lorraine Reppond of Verona, Italy; two brothers, Sam Rushing of Baton Rouge and John Rushing of Rayville; four sisters, Lela Green of Rayville, Fannie Verdell of Bogalusa, Beatrice Fortenberry of Jackson, Miss., and Maggie Austin of Morton, Miss; 21 gradchildren; and 25 great- grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Fleming, Perry Fleming, Marvin Fleming II, Roger Gibson, Danny Gibson, Ralph Boies, Richard Lewis and Daryl Henry.
