Joe Arnold and Bro. Larry Milby officiating. With internment to follow in Rayville Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Walker passed away Monday Nov. 8, 2004 at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA, following a courageous and graceful battle with cancer. Mrs. Walker was born on October 8, 1946 in Bastrop, LA. She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and the best Granny in the world.ö She was preceded in death by her father Frank W. Tilbury, and her mother Marian Tilbury. Mrs. Walker spent her entire working career with BellSouth, where she retired after 31 years. She began her career as a clerk and retired as an Electronic Technician. She considered her Bellsouth co-workers as "family" She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mr. Jack Walker of Rayville, LA, Her daughter Leah Pope Ulmer and her husband Billy Ulmer of Natchez, MS, son Bryan Walker and his wife Joy of Port Vincent, LA, Grandchildren; Mary Catherine Wilkerson, Joshua Wilkerson, Maggie Caroline Ulmer, McKinley Claire Ulmer all of Natchez and Justin Walker and Brittany Walker of St. Francisville, LA Aunt , Helen Tilbury of Arley, AL and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be Fred Martin, B. J. McKnight, Henry Rice, Billy Ulmer, Bryan Walker, and Todd Yelverton. Honorary Pallbearers will ber her Bell South Co-workers. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.
