Howard Childs officating, and assisted by Rev. the Rev, William Ray. Burial will follow at Little Creek Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville, LA Mr. Barmore, a lifelong resident of Archibald, LA, was born August 28, 1935 and passed away May 5, 2007 at the Veteran's Hospital in Shreveport, LA. He was a graduate of Mangham High School and during the Korean Conflict served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired farmer and truck driver. Harold was an avid hunter at his hunting camp on Filter Bend and loved fishing at his camp on Bayou Louie Rocks. Mr. Barmore is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Benton Barmore, Sr., and Inez Hill Barmore; his brother, Thomas Benton Barmore, Jr.; two sisters, Bena B. Ward and Frances B. Terry; and his beloved daughter, Donna Sue Barmore. He leaves behind his wife, Brenda; daughter, Angela B. Kanehl and her husband, Rayburn of Savannah, GA; son, Harold Chambers Barmore, Jr. of Monroe, LA; his sister, Maggie B. Lytle and husband Michael of Mangham, LA; his brothers, Leroy Barmore of Rayville, LA and Billy Don Barmore and his wife Sharon of Mangham, LA; two granddaughters, Haley Lane Kanehl and Kylie Ray Kanehl of Savannah, GA; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Helen Curl Moore. Pallbearers will be Jeff Barmore, Kip Jones, Ben Barmore, Kevin Bunch, Derek Munholland, and Bradley Lawson. Honorary Pallbeaer will Bud Chapman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Little Creek Methodist Church in Archibald, LA or the charity of your choice.
