All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** * Hollis Edward Wright Funeral services for Mr. Hollis Edward "Eddie" Wright, age 41, will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel in Rayville, LA with Rev. Alvin Stowe officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Holly Ridge, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville, LA. Mr. Wright, who was a resident of Holly Ridge, LA, was born on April 25, 1963 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2004. Eddie was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed by Riverwood, later named Graphic Packaging for over twenty years. He enjoyed electrical work on the side, riding horses and flying planes, but most of all, spending quality time with his sons and he was expecting his first grandchild. Eddie was a very honest man, never meeting a stranger. He was a loyal son, brother, and friend to those he felt close to. He will be greatly missed by all that loved him and knew him. Eddie was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ona Wright; paternal grandfather, Victor B. Wright, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Billie Jean Payne; and special father, Fate Walker. He is survived by three sons: Curtis Wright and wife, Stacey of Rayville, LA, Codey Wright of Holly Ridge, LA and Christopher Wright of Holly Ridge, LA; father and mom, Victor Wright and wife, Alice of Holly Ridge, LA; mother, Katherine Abrams and husband, Charles of Lake Brownwood, TX; mother of his children, Mary Wright of Holly Ridge, LA; six sisters: Lanita Gail Masters and husband, Steve of Archibald, LA, Marla Mosley of Holly Ridge, LA; Jean Hines and husband, Larry of Longview, TX, Gwen Scarborough and husband, Mike of Holly Ridge, LA, Terri Chancellor and husband, Fred of Baton Rouge, LA and April Brewer and husband, Bill of Missouri; three brothers: David Wright and wife, Cathy of St. Joe, TX, Jimmy Freeman and wife, Tina of Lafayette, LA and Allan Murray of Lake Brownwood, TX; special mother, Ellen Walker of Holly Ridge, LA; maternal grandfather, Hollis Payne of Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his many friends. Pallbearers will be Jason Wright, Richard Walker, Joey Rushing, Brian Martin, John Miller, and Leonard Allen "Squeaky" Lee.
