Fusilier Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel West Fusilier, retired home demonstration agent for Richland Parish, were held at 3 P.M. Sunday, November 26, 1989, in the chapel of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville with the Rev. J. Paul Lipe officiating. Burial was in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery in Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley. Mrs. Fusilier died Friday Novemer 24, 1989 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe after an extended illness. A native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Mrs. Fusilier was born May 14, 1911. She was a school tacher in England, Arkansas, for 12 years,teaching home economics. She served as the Richland Home Demonstration Agent from 1952 until 1971. she was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Rayville. Mrs. Fusilier is survived by her husband, Odwin S. Fusilier of Epps; one daughter, Mrs. John R. McClendon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Helen Spears of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
