Hubbard, Jr., age 78, of Rayville, LA will be 2 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2001 at Rayville United Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Spiller officiating. Burial will be in Rayville Masonic Cemetery - Rayville, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home - Rayville, LA. Mr. Hubbard died Tuesday, January 2, 2001 at Richardson Medical Center - Rayville, LA. He was a member of Rayville United Methodist Church and The Something More Sunday School Class. He was a 1939 Graduate of Rayville High School and a 1943 Graduate of LSU. He was a World War II Veteran in which he served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He was a long time member of the Rayville Kiwanis Club and a member of the ASCS Committee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis H. Hubbard, Sr. and Myrtle Scott Hubbard. Survivors include his wife: Doris H. Hubbard of Rayville, LA; son: Lewis H. Hubbard, III and his wife Laura of Rayville, LA; two grandchildren: Lewis H. Hubbard IV and Olivia Marie Hubbard; brother: William H. Hubbard of Rayville, LA; three nieces: Ann Richardson of Houston, TX, Patricia Bonnette and Susan Adcock, both of Rayville, LA; cousins: George B. Franklin, Jr. of Rayville, LA, Edith Rose Schooler of Rayville, LA and Elaine Pullig of Haynesville, LA. Pallbearers will be Bibb Franklin, Fred Franklin, Roy Franklin, Donald Cumpton, Mark Brown, Ben Love, Jr., Dennis Love, Basil Doles, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Elkins, Massey K. McConnell, Dr. Edward Cascio, B. J. McKnight, Ben Love and The Something More Sunday School Class of Rayville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Organ Fund Rayville United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
