 H.W."Buddy" Thompson

Funeral services for H.W. "Buddy" Thompson. 59,
of Archibald, were held January 23, 2002, at
Archibald Church of Christ, with Karl Huff, David 
Shiers and Ronald thompson Jr.,officiating.

Interment followed in Gwin Cemetery, in Mangham, under
the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home.

Mr. Thompson, a member of Archibald Church of Christ,
died January 21, 2002.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara
Eppinette Thompson; father, Roland Thompson, Sr; and 
sister, Debra Thompson Clay.

He is survived by his wife, Claire Hogan Thompson, of
Archibald; children, Caleb Thompson, of Archibald,
Becky Free and husband, Bobby, of Archibald. Shannon 
Ivy and husband, Tony of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma;and
Toni Pruitt and husband, Chris of Mangham; mother, Erma
Hutson Thompson Voth and husband Charlie, of Winnsboro;
grandchildren, Mallary and Mason Free, of Archibald and 
Kaylin and Brandon Ivy, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma;
sister, Kathy Burgess and husband, Wilfred Burgess, Jr.,
of Rayville; and brother, Roland Thompson Jr., and wife 
Beth of Rayville.

Serving as pallbearers were Ken McKay, Sr., Wilfred 
Burgess Sr., Thomas Earl Lamb, Waymond Hales and Travis
Stephenson. Honorary pallbearers were Otis Hutson and
Lorell Graham.
