IVE M. DUCKWORTH

Services for Ive Mann Duckworth, 77, of Rayville, were held January 7, 2004 
at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Rayville with the Rev. Harold Spillers and 
the Rev. Herbert Whitten officiating.

Internment followed in McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge under the direction 
of Brown-Holley Funeral home of Rayville.Mrs. Duckworth was born on April 17, 
1926 and passed away January 4 in Clarksville, Tennessee, after a lengthy illness.

She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Darnell, LA. She was preceded 
in death by her husband , W.C. “Buddy” Duckworth; a son, James “Monkey” Duckworth; 
and her parents, Samuel and Minnie Mann.

Survivors include her daughter Phyllis Duckworth of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, 
James Duckworth Jr. of Swartz, LA., Penny Duckworth Funderburk of Calhoun, LA, Wendy 
Williams Stewart of Whitleyville, TN, Christopher Williams of Lebanon, TN,
Angela Williams Jones of Whitleyville, TV, and Scott Duckworth of Brandon, MS; eight 
great grandchildren; brothers, Grady Mann of Bastrop and Leroy Mann of Bastrop ; and 
daughter-in-law, Ann Duckworth Smith of Rayville.

Pallbearers were Richard Mann, Glenn Mann, Steve Mann, Carlos Mann, Eugene Mann 
and Ricky Hendrix.
