 Jasper Alex Middleton

Funeral services for Jasper Alex Middleton, 89, of Rayville, LA will 
be held 10:00AM, Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Brown-Holley Funeral 
Chapel in Rayville, LA with Dr. Ernest Winburn and Rev. Prentis Gandy 
officiating. Interment will follow in Greer Cemetery in Rayville under 
the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. 

Jasper Alex Middleton was born on June 27, 1917 in Raleigh, MS and 
passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2006 in Rayville, LA. 

Mr. Middleton was a member of Zebedee Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Gay Cline Middleton and 
his father, Alex Middleton and his mother and step father, Mellie Webb 
Evans and Frank Evans. 

Survivors include his daughters, Carol Calhoun and husband, Neil of 
Baton Rouge, LA, Bonnie Rockett and husband, Richard of Rayville, LA 
and Dianne Middleton of Rayville, LA; son, Charles Middleton and wife, 
Eddie Sue of Denham Springs, LA; twelve grandchildren; twenty great 
grandchildren and his sister, Ruby Evans Coats of Monroe, LA. 

Pallbearers will be Owen Rockett, Landon Rockett, Jerome Calhoun, Tommy 
Cothern, Richard Atterton and Matthew Atterton. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Neil Calhoun, Richard Rockett, Robert Lee 
and Mike Middleton.
