 Mr. James Carlyle O'Neal Sr.


Services for Mr. James Carlyle O'Neal Sr. age 84, of Rayville, LA,
will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at Woodlawn Baptist Church
in Rayville, LA, with Rev. Alan Miller and Rev. Pat Lofton
officiating. Burial will be in Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA.

Mr. Carlyle a life long resident of Rayville was a member of
Woodlawn Baptist Church and a World War II Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest Hodge O'Neal and
Nancy Wright O'Neal and a brother Forest Hodge O'Neal, II.
He is survived by his wife Lydia M. O'Neal of Rayville, LA; two
sons: James Carlyle O'Neal, Jr. and his wife Paige of Ruston and
Forrest Warren O'Neal and his wife Melissa also of Ruston, LA;
three step-sons: Joseph Kevin Hughes of Jonesville, LA, George Kent
Hughes and wife Kim of Monroe, LA, and Micah Corey Hughes and his
wife Mary of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren and one great-
great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Joe Comeaux, Sam Sharbono, Wendall Robbins,
Billy Landrum, Roy Williamson, and Ed Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Summers and the men of his
Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM
Tuesday until service time at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville,
LA.
